Maastricht/Netherlands, Ahrensburg/Germany, 1. November 2016. Serge Gouders (46) has taken up the post of Commercial Director at WMD Benelux B.V. in Maastricht, the Netherlands.
The experienced SAP salesman has been heading customer development and customer and partner aquisition in the Benelux countries since October, 2016, at the Maastricht subsidiary of WMD (Workflow Management and Document Consulting, based in Ahrensburg, Germany).
Mr. Gouders, Dutch by birth, comes to WMD from the PNA Group in Heerlen, the Netherlands, where he successfully established and structured the sales department. With this new addition, WMD Benelux will increase emphasis on regular client care while simultaneously setting up a campaign to attract new customers. Regional customer events on WMD innovations will offer a platform to provide customers with information on current SAP-certified DMS solutions. The events will address large, international companies from sectors in which WMD solutions have already been frequently used—health care, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, etc. They will focus on standard WMD solutions for procurement, invoice processing and order processing, as well as on archiving.
“The Benelux countries make up a very mature SAP market,” says Serge Gouders. “This is coupled with the high demand for automated and integrated solutions for invoice and order processing—and, logically, end-to-end procure-to-pay, which companies can use to slim down and optimize their processes. The xSuite solutions have found fertile ground here in Benelux.”
According to Hans Willems, Managing Director of WMD Benelux B.V.: “We are pleased to have gained Serge Gouders. He is a highly experienced sales expert who, on the one hand, knows the market here very well and, on the other, has a strong background in economics. This lays the ground for us to identify the precise business-process needs of both existing and potential customers, and to transform these needs into sales.”
WMD Group Managing Director Andreas Karge adds: “The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg have traditionally been well-suited for direct-sales activities. Alongside direct sales activities, we will develop a select network of trained and qualified partners in order to raise our own business activities to a higher power.”
