Melanie is a Personnel Officer and works at our headquarters in Ahrensburg, Germany.
What is your job at WMD?
When the recruiting of an employee is over, I pick up the thread. As personnel officer responsible for staff support, I draw up employment contracts.
Also, I advise colleagues in matters regarding employment law, social security, and taxation.
The well-being of co-workers is a great concern of mine: I’m always open to hearing the different issues, worries, needs and questions that come to me. Whether in the role of a contact in serious matters, a clown, or the strict personnel officer, I’m right there with a lot of empathy.
Other than that, I handle a broad range of issues in the world of personnel. This keeps me fresh in mind and spirit.
What is special at WMD?
At the offices of WMD, heart and mind flow. No one is like anyone else, but everyone is warm, helpful and, regardless of position, authentic and passionate about their work.
I love the combination of traditional values and valuable solutions.
The company offers lots of variety. I value the fact that everybody can contribute ideas.
Everyone is important and is valued: That is not just put on, you really feel it.
And not to be forgotten: great extras like fruit, good coffee and tea, filtered water — even smoothies on a regular basis.
